                   A RESOLUTION TO AMEND AN AGREEMENT WITH 
                   INSITUFORM MIDSOUTH FOR SOLE SOURCE 
                   PROCUREMENT OF A PATENTED PROCESS FOR SEWER 
                   PIPE RECONSTRUCTION SO AS TO INCREASE THE 
                   REVISED CONTRACT AMOUNT BY ONE HUNDRED 
                   SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS 
                   ($175,000.00) FOR A TOTAL REVISED CONTRACT 
                   AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED FIVE 
                   THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($1,805,000.00).
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized an 
       amendment to the Agreement with Insituform Midsouth for sole 
       source procurement of a patented process for sewer pipe 
       reconstruction so as to increase the revised contract amount of 
       $1,630,000.00 by the amount of $175,000.00 for a total revised 
       contract price of $1,805,000.00.
